Patient Care Technician – Night Shift

About the role

Kingman Healthcare Inc. seeks a dedicated Patient Care Technician to work night shifts, supporting the hospital’s vision of delivering kind, high‑quality health care. The role involves rapid assessment of patient stability, assisting clinical staff, and ensuring a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rapid appraisal of patients' immediate stability and intervene as needed.
• Transport patients to other departments on monitors and assist with physical exams, EKG testing, wound care, and vital sign measurements.
• Document all care and procedures provided, and monitor supply stock levels.
• After training and where permitted, conduct blood glucose testing, phlebotomy, saline lock insertion, IV discontinuation, and bladder catheterization.
• Notify environmental services, maintenance, and biomedical engineering to maintain equipment and safety.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• License as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with transition to Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) within 30 days, or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
