Part‑time House Manager for Busy Family in St. Paul

About the role

We are a family of four in St. Paul seeking a proactive House Manager to keep our home running smoothly. This part‑time position (15 hours/week) supports daily routines, meal preparation, laundry, and overall household organization, allowing the parents to focus on work and family time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all family laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away linens and towels.
• Plan 3‑4 weekly dinners, shop for groceries (Shipt delivery and in‑person), prep ingredients, and prepare batch lunches for parents.
• Maintain daily reset of the main floor: empty dishwasher, light tidying, surface cleaning, vacuuming high‑traffic areas, and trash removal.
• Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies via Amazon, Target, and Shipt; coordinate family calendar and schedule appointments.
• Organize pantry, closets, shoes, and toys; handle routine maintenance such as changing batteries, light bulbs, and smoke‑detector checks.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, vendor access, and schedule repairs; oversee deep‑cleaning projects and seasonal tasks.

Required profile

• Proactive, organized, and collaborative with a love for creating systems.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Up‑to‑date on recommended vaccinations; willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid if childcare duties expand.
• Ability to anticipate needs, suggest improvements, and integrate into a lively family environment.
