Part‑Time House Manager & Family Assistant (Meal Prep)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, self‑sufficient House Manager & Family Assistant to support our busy Austin household. The role focuses on daily home upkeep, childcare, and light meal‑prep assistance during afternoons.

Key responsibilities

• Reset and tidy main living spaces, load/unload dishwasher, and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Supervise children (ages 5.5, 4, 2.5), ensuring safety while providing engaging activities.
• Handle children’s laundry, basic meal planning, and assist with dinner preparation.
• Maintain household organization systems (closets, pantry, toys) and oversee supply inventories.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping, package pickup, and coordinate service providers.

Required profile

• Strong childcare experience with a safety‑first mindset.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to anticipate household needs.
• Calm under pressure, trustworthy, and reliable with consistent attendance.
• Flexible schedule, able to adapt to varying daily demands.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly pay of $28‑$33 based on experience.
• Part‑time schedule (15‑20 hours/week) primarily 2:30 – 5:30 PM, Monday‑Friday.
