Partnership Manager, AI for Science

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a Partnership Manager to lead its AI for Science program. You will shape the strategy for deploying Claude in life‑science domains, working with academic labs, early‑stage companies, and other mission‑driven partners to explore new scientific applications of AI.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the AI for Science API credit strategy, partnering with academic labs, startups, and foundations.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners through API credit applications and targeted outreach.
• Serve as the primary relationship owner, coordinating with Applied AI, product, and GTM teams.
• Compile regular ecosystem reports to inform research and go‑to‑market priorities.
• Manage program timelines, resources, and reporting.
• Work closely with partners to translate technical and operational needs into deployment plans.
• Conduct early technical prototyping and testing to unblock partners.
• Set a research agenda to understand AI’s impact across scientific domains.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partnership or program management, preferably with academic or scientific organizations.
• Strong understanding of life‑science fields such as biomedical research, chemistry, or materials science.
• Excellent communication and project‑management skills to coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to experiment and build new AI‑driven solutions.
