Partner Relations Manager

About the role

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Partner Relations Manager to build and strengthen strategic partnerships, drive business development initiatives, and identify new revenue opportunities across key territories. The role involves frequent travel to maintain executive‑level relationships and deliver long‑term business success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain executive‑level relationships with owners, presidents, and senior leaders of partner carriers and agents.
• Lead quarterly business reviews, negotiate commercial agreements, and create annual territory business plans.
• Identify new partnership opportunities, expand market coverage, and collaborate with sales leadership on joint customer acquisition.
• Monitor partner performance using revenue, margin, service, claims, and operational KPIs.
• Serve as escalation point for strategic partner issues and ensure operational alignment on interchange processes, EDI connectivity, and service standards.
• Travel approximately 10–12 days per month to conduct in‑person visits, business reviews, and joint sales activities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in transportation, LTL, logistics, national accounts, or business development.
• Proven success managing executive‑level customer or partner relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 40–50% of the time.
