Part-Time Teller (Everett, MA)

About the role

Join Santander’s Everett branch as a part‑time teller, providing front‑line banking services to customers. You will be the first point of contact, helping clients with everyday transactions while delivering a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking needs.
• Handle cash accurately, maintain drawer balances, and follow all cash‑handling procedures.
• Adhere to bank policies, compliance, and risk‑management protocols to prevent fraud.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and refer appropriate products to deepen relationships.
• Educate customers on digital self‑service tools and promote their use.
• Support custodial duties, audits, and other operational tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and may assist nearby branches when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• At least 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow procedures.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Comfortable using digital tools and basic computer applications.
• Flexible to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
