Part Time Teller (Barrington, RI)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time teller to join our Barrington branch. In this customer‑focused position you will handle daily banking transactions while delivering a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, reduce wait times and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other banking needs.
• Accurately handle cash, maintain the cash drawer and balance at the end of each shift.
• Follow all bank policies, compliance and risk‑management procedures to prevent fraud.
• Identify opportunities to refer customers to appropriate products and educate them on digital self‑service tools.
• Support branch operations such as custodial duties, audits and occasional assistance to nearby locations.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to create a welcoming environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of cash‑handling experience.
• At least 6 months of customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work flexible branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
