Part-Time Internal Audit Field Officer (Remote)

About the role

The Internal Audit Field Officer supports the Recipient Safeguarding and Advocacy team by ensuring that cash‑transfer beneficiaries are protected and their rights respected. Working remotely, you will conduct surveys, investigate potential fraud or harm, and provide actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct remote recipient surveys using call‑center technology to identify difficulties related to cash transfers.
• Log incidents and track cases in internal tools such as AidKit and Zendesk, providing notes for country management.
• Report findings and brief the Internal Audit Manager regularly.
• Assist the Community Engagement Manager with field risk assessments, recipient protection and community mobilization.
• Analyze survey data, suggest improvements and tailor follow‑up surveys for each program.

Required profile

• Strong judgment on operational issues and a high work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality, anonymity and GiveDirectly’s mission.
