Part-Time Household Manager & Family Assistant (Childcare)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, part‑time Household Manager & Family Assistant to support our busy household in Armonk. The role focuses on childcare, organization, and light meal preparation, working Monday‑Thursday afternoons.

Key responsibilities

• Provide supervision and backup childcare for one or two children, including preparing backpacks, snacks, and occasional pick‑ups/drop‑offs.
• Maintain household organization systems: daily resets of dishes, surfaces, toys, and preparation for Friday cleaning.
• Make beds, perform light tidying, empty trash, and manage diaper pails and recycling.
• Wash, fold, and organize family laundry; keep laundry areas stocked.
• Warm or prep simple dinner items, prepare school lunches, and keep the kitchen clean after meals.
• Monitor pantry, fridge, and supply levels; add items to grocery list as needed.
• Handle mail and packages, sort and break down boxes.
• Assist with packing/unpacking for family travel and occasional special projects.

Required profile

• Proactive and attentive: you notice what needs to be done without being asked.
• Reliable and safety‑focused: CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain, up‑to‑date on vaccinations.
• Warm and comfortable with young children, able to support a hands‑on mom.
• Authorized to work in the United States and have reliable personal transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).
