Part-Time Assistant Community Manager (Rumrill Gardens)

About the role
The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational functions of the Rumrill Gardens community. This part‑time position works Tuesday‑Friday, 11 am‑5:30 pm, and focuses on bookkeeping, rent collection, and reporting using property‑management software.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
- Process invoices and payables, code charges to the appropriate chart of accounts, and coordinate with vendors and owners.
- Prepare monthly close‑out financial reports and other accounting documentation.
- Operate Yardi/OneSite software, ensuring accurate data entry, updates, and system backups.
- Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
- Assist with eviction procedures following company policies and legal notice requirements.
Required profile
- Entry‑level candidates with relatable experience.
- Experience with affordable‑housing programs such as Tax Credit or HUD.
- Basic knowledge of banking and bookkeeping practices.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property‑management software.
