Paralegal (U.S. Law Firm)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Paralegal to support attorneys in a U.S. law‑firm environment. The role involves legal research, document drafting, case file management and coordination of filings while ensuring strict compliance with deadlines and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research using online legal databases and other resources.
• Draft, review and organize legal documents, contracts, pleadings, motions and correspondence.
• Maintain case files, client records and related documentation.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, discovery and case‑strategy support.
• Coordinate filings with courts and administrative agencies.
• Monitor deadlines, court dates and compliance requirements.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts and external parties.
• Prepare summaries, reports and case timelines for attorneys.
• Support attorneys during hearings, depositions and other legal proceedings as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Paralegal in a U.S. law firm.
• Strong understanding of U.S. legal terminology, procedures and documentation.
• Experience with case management and legal research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Law or a related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using legal management software.
• Familiarity with online legal research databases.
