Packaging Supervisor – 12hr Day Shift

About the role

CooperVision is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to lead the day‑shift packaging team in West Henrietta, NY. This full‑time, onsite position focuses on delivering on‑time shipments, maintaining high equipment effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement across packaging operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the packaging shift, ensuring 99% on‑time delivery and meeting all KPI targets.
• Monitor Redzone alerts and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to optimize production performance.
• Supervise and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer‑service excellence.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles consistently throughout the shift.
• Investigate non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and quality feedback (QFBs) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and departmental documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising packaging or manufacturing teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of KPI management, OEE, and Redzone monitoring.
• Ability to lead lean initiatives and drive operational excellence.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on root‑cause analysis.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across functions.
