Packaging Specialist – Illinois Territory

About the role

As a Packaging Specialist for the Illinois territory, you will leverage curiosity and collaboration to drive growth of 3M’s packaging portfolio across Food & Beverage, Healthcare and e‑fulfillment markets. The role blends independent field sales with close partnership to internal sales resources.

Key responsibilities

• Leads development of new and existing end‑user customers for packaging solutions across Food & Beverage, Healthcare and e‑fulfillment markets.
• Collaborates with the packaging sales team and inside‑sales resources to pursue opportunities with end users and channel partners.
• Sets sales goals and utilizes resources and tactics to meet and exceed territory sales objectives.
• Supports relationships with key personnel at multiple buying‑process levels to generate leads and achieve territory targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) completed prior to start.
• Minimum three years of independent field sales experience managing a defined territory in private, public, government or military settings.
• Valid driver’s license; company vehicle will be provided.

• Base salary range $142,479 – $174,141 per year plus variable incentive pay.
