Packaging Designer

About the role

Gourmet Home Products is seeking a creative Packaging Designer to develop visual concepts and packaging solutions for its houseware product lines. The role is based in Manhattan and involves collaborating with design, sales, and production teams to deliver high‑quality packaging assets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating mood boards, presentations and design materials for internal teams and clients.
• Develop packaging specifications, die‑line layouts and physical mock‑ups using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Produce vivid concept imagery and mock‑ups for sales presentations.
• Coordinate photo shoots and manage product lifestyle photography.
• Present design concepts and research findings across multiple locations.
• Collaborate with sales and clients to review, revise and finalize artwork.
• Manage multiple design projects, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Support additional design‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of professional experience in packaging design.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong analytical, prioritization and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail, deadline orientation and accurate reporting.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Manhattan, NY.
