Outside Sales Representative – Foodservice & Restaurant Sales

About the role

If you’re passionate about food, sales, and growing business through personalized service, this is the role for you! As a Sales Associate at The Chef’s Warehouse, you act as the face of the company by delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships with chefs and food‑service professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new revenue by developing fresh business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet existing and prospective customers, present product samples, and secure orders.
• Prepare quotes, credit terms, and contracts, and provide accurate delivery timelines.
• Maintain detailed records of transactions, expense reports, and account receivables in internal systems.
• Collaborate with inside‑sales teams to keep account information and literature up to date.
• Monitor inventory levels to align product availability with customer demand.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in restaurant, food, or professional catering sales (or experience as a chef).
• High energy, enthusiastic attitude with a strong team‑player mindset.
• College degree desired but not required.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
