About the role

Codes Health is building a modern AI‑powered platform for medical record retrieval. As Operations Lead in New York, you will own the day‑to‑day execution of the Records Retrieval Team, shaping its structure, processes and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Create orientation and continuous training programs for new hires in records roles.
• Define and track performance metrics for the Records Team, both individually and collectively.
• Restructure internal organization to improve efficiency and reward top performers.
• Design SOPs and daily processes used by the Records Team.
• Model capacity and margin constraints to meet customer demand and volume growth.
• Build operational improvements such as dashboards, Zapier automations, and Retool tools.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop internal products that streamline record retrieval operations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of operations experience in startups or high‑growth environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch.
• Technical‑adjacent, able to create quick automations and tooling.
• Excellent communicator who works directly with the team.
• Meticulously organized and process‑focused.
