Online Adjunct Instructor

About the role

Seward County Community College seeks qualified professionals to join its faculty as Online Adjunct Instructors. You will deliver high‑quality instruction to a culturally diverse student body across a range of subjects, supporting the college’s mission of academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engaging online instruction in one or more disciplines such as Nutrition, Developmental Psychology, Public Speaking, College Algebra, Principles of Biology, or Economics.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to promote student learning and achievement.
• Collect, document, and analyze assessment data to meet course, program, and institutional learning outcomes.
• Participate in non‑instructional duties including academic advising, student recruitment, committee work, and community service.
• Contribute to institutional assessment and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in the discipline to be taught, or a Master’s in another field with at least 18 graduate credit hours relevant to the teaching area.
• Two to five years of related teaching or professional experience.
• Ability to teach both online and in‑person formats.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
