Oncology Registered Nurse – Santa Monica

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join our Community Oncology Practice in Santa Monica. The RN will deliver direct patient care, administer infusion therapies, and provide education and support to oncology patients.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients prior to chemotherapy and other IV treatments.
• Prepare and administer chemotherapeutic agents and intravenous medications.
• Perform blood draws, IV insertions, and manage central line and PICC line catheters.
• Document all nursing activities accurately in the UCLA registration and order entry systems.
• Provide patient education, psychosocial support, and triage acute concerns.

Required profile

• BSN degree and current California RN license.
• Minimum two years of acute care or outpatient oncology experience.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification.

Required skills

• Infusion therapy administration.
• Chemotherapy preparation and delivery.
• IV insertion and blood withdrawal.
• Central line and PICC line catheter management.
