Occupational Therapist

About the role

This position evaluates patients and delivers inpatient occupational therapy programs based on physician orders. The therapist works closely with the healthcare team to transition patients to the most appropriate post‑acute or home care setting, meeting individualized goals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans to achieve patient‑specific goals.
• Assess patient response to therapy and adjust plans to improve outcomes and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with documentation standards.
• Ensure treatment protocols support hospital quality and safety targets.
• Adapt communication and procedures to respect patient privacy and individual needs.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current occupational therapy license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to travel between facilities as needed.

• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
