OB/GYN Physician – Outpatient & Inpatient Practice

About the role

Ochsner Rush Health in Meridian, MS is seeking a board‑certified OB/GYN to join its established group of physicians. The role involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both an outpatient clinic and a 215‑bed inpatient hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver OB/GYN services to patients in a high‑volume outpatient clinic and inpatient setting.
• Perform surgical procedures using two da Vinci robotic systems (XI and SI) and manage C‑section deliveries in dedicated operating rooms.
• Collaborate with the Level III NICU team for neonatal care and support the Family Birth Center.
• Participate in a 1:4 on‑call schedule with the OB Labor group.

Required profile

• Board‑certified OB/GYN.
• Ability to integrate into an existing high‑volume practice with a large eight‑county referral base.
• Willingness to work onsite and engage in multidisciplinary collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with da Vinci surgical robots (XI and SI).
• Experience using electronic charting and fetal monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with the EPIC electronic medical record platform.
