Nutrition Service Assistant (Part-time)

About the role

The Brock Elliott School is seeking a part‑time Nutrition Service Assistant to support its daily food service operations. This role works mornings, providing a safe and nutritious environment for students while adhering to district policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals during the morning shift (6:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.).
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow food safety guidelines and district protocols.
• Support inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (proof required if hired).
• Desirable experience in a school nutrition program or food‑service industry.
• Completion of a food safety certification program approved by the district (preferred).
• Ability to pass TB clearance and fingerprinting at employee cost.

Required skills

• Food safety knowledge.
