Nurse Navigator - Oncology

About the role

The Nurse Navigator – Oncology provides patient‑centered navigation and coordination of care for individuals receiving cancer treatment within the Women’s Oncology Clinic. This role ensures patients receive timely appointments, understand their treatment plans, and have access to supportive resources.

Key responsibilities

• Guide oncology patients through the continuum of care, from diagnosis to treatment and follow‑up.
• Coordinate appointments, tests, and referrals with multidisciplinary team members.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options, side‑effects, and supportive services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the patient’s medical record.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, clinicians, and ancillary services to resolve barriers to care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas.
• Experience in oncology or cancer‑care settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
