Non-Technical Project/Program Management III

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a senior‑level Non‑Technical Project/Program Manager to lead global, cross‑functional initiatives that support its semiconductor and display equipment business. The role will drive projects from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with product specifications, cost targets, and schedule commitments while collaborating with business and IT stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define project objectives, milestones, resource plans and conduct viability studies for assigned programs.
• Deliver projects in accordance with product/process specifications, budget, resource utilization and timelines.
• Document all phases of project development and ensure compliance with company policies on notebooks, patents, confidentiality and safety.
• Manage material and financial resources efficiently and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to maximize productivity.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, highly organized manager with experience leading global, cross‑functional projects.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems, troubleshoot and analyze technical and business issues.
• Experience managing automation, regulatory compliance, digital enablement, global logistics and ERP/system implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; PMP certification preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio.
• Experience using SAP ERP for order management and systems integration.

What we offer

• Base salary range $88,000 – $121,000 per year.
