About the role
Applied Materials is seeking a New Product Manufacturing Engineer III to drive commercialization of newly designed semiconductor and display products, moving them from design to volume manufacturing.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate release of new products and improvements with engineering functions, managing engineering change orders and PLC/CIP program launches.
- Create and maintain master layouts in UG/NX and manage product structures, BOMs, and variant configurations in Teamcenter.
- Collaborate with suppliers, volume manufacturing engineers, and cross‑functional teams to resolve manufacturability issues and transition NPI to high‑volume production.
Required profile
- BS degree in an engineering discipline.
- 4+ years of manufacturing or engineering experience, preferably 5‑7 years in a similar role.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Unigraphics/NX and Teamcenter CAD tools.
- Experience using SAP for BOM management and engineering change orders.
- Familiarity with Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), flowcharting, FRACAS and BRIO.
- Knowledge of DFx (Design for Excellence) principles and manufacturability analysis.
