Network Support Technician - Intermediate - TS/SCI Required

About the role

GDIT is seeking an Intermediate Network Support Technician to support critical missions for the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). The role involves maintaining datacenter and remote‑site network operations, ensuring security, availability, and performance in both garrison and austere environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support datacenter and remote‑site technical operations, enforce security protocols, and sustain system availability.
• Manage daily workflows, system escalations, and mission‑critical support across garrison and field locations.
• Collaborate with contractor groups, internal teams, and end users to resolve issues and maintain situational awareness.
• Diagnose network issues, implement improvements, and drive continuous process enhancements.
• Configure, install, and maintain servers, desktops, cabling, and LAN/WAN components.
• Provide Tier I/II support, coordinate escalations, and operate independently in austere sites.
• Manage datacenter access controls, cryptographic devices, and key material.
• Assist in training end users and junior technicians.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship.
• Current Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph.
• 7+ years of related experience in network management, support, or system administration.
