Multiple Subject Teacher (Intermediate)

About the role

The Manteca Unified School District is seeking a dedicated Multiple Subject Teacher (Intermediate) for French Camp Elementary. This full‑time position will support a diverse classroom of elementary students, delivering instruction across core subjects while fostering a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons in multiple subjects for intermediate grades.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt instruction to meet individual needs.
• Maintain classroom management and promote a safe, inclusive atmosphere.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff on school initiatives.
• Participate in professional development, including the district’s In‑House Teacher Induction Program.

Required profile

• Valid Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (including subject description, expiration date, and EL Authorization).
• Letter of interest, resume, and official transcripts from all colleges attended.
• Two recent letters of recommendation from educational supervisors.
• Proof of EL Authorization if not embedded in the credential.
• Pre‑employment TB clearance and fingerprinting (employee cost if hired).

Required skills

• Strong classroom management and instructional planning abilities.
• Effective communication with students, parents, and staff.
• Knowledge of California education standards and EL requirements.
