About the role
The MIDUS Assistant Site Coordinator will support the NIH‑funded Integrative Pathways to Health and Illness project at Georgetown University. Working on the Center for Population and Health, the role involves coordinating participant travel, data collection, and overall protocol oversight, with occasional evenings or weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating all aspects of the MIDUS research protocol, including participant recruitment and travel logistics.
- Work with study participants and the research team to ensure proper data collection procedures.
- Prepare, organize, and process collected participant data.
- Maintain research‑related certifications and documentation.
- Collaborate with the MIDUS Project Manager, Research Site Coordinator, CRU nurses, and personnel at other university sites.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, demography, public health, or a related field.
- Familiarity with health research, longitudinal studies, and data collection.
- Experience in customer service, office administration, grant procedures, or financial transactions.
- Strong organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in word processing applications.
- Experience with database tools.
- Competence in spreadsheet applications.
