About the role

Ataraxis AI is a clinical AI research lab focused on multi‑modal AI and precision medicine. As a Member of Technical Staff in Bayesian Statistics, you will develop cutting‑edge Bayesian methods that improve patient outcome predictions and support treatment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement novel Bayesian statistics methods for clinical data.
• Translate state‑of‑the‑art machine‑learning papers into production‑ready code.
• Build robust model evaluation frameworks and pipelines.
• Co‑author research papers, abstracts, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and clinicians across disciplines.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices.

Required profile

• PhD in statistics, machine learning, or a closely related field.
• Strong research track record, preferably with publications in top AI conferences (ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, CVPR) or leading statistics journals.
• Attention to detail, ability to drive projects to completion, and passion for scientific inquiry.

Required skills

• Bayesian statistics, including Gaussian processes and Bayesian clinical trial design.
• Python programming and PyTorch deep‑learning framework.
• Experience with uncertainty quantification and model explainability in deep learning.
• Solid foundation in linear algebra, probability, and core machine‑learning concepts.
