Medicaid Representative – Clinical Staff

About the role

The Medicaid Representative position supports the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) by managing Medicaid enrollment processes for patients and ensuring accurate documentation. This role is part of the Clinical Staff – Nursing team and operates on a day‑shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Process Medicaid enrollment applications and verify eligibility.
• Assist patients with questions related to Medicaid benefits and coverage.
• Maintain up‑to‑date enrollment records and ensure compliance with state regulations.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee (including student employees or graduate assistants).
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Availability to work day shift in the United States.
