About the role
As a Master Machinist at Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation – Columbia Plant, you will work hands‑on to read blueprints, fabricate and weld parts, repair tooling, and design jigs and templates that support part production.
Key responsibilities
- Read and interpret tool and die blueprints for fabrication and repair.
- Perform welding, grinding, milling, and lathe operations on metal stock.
- Repair and maintain molds, tooling, and injection‑molding equipment.
- Design and build jigs and templates to aid part fabrication.
- Measure, mark, and inspect metal components using precision measuring instruments.
- Set up and operate drilling, grinding, and milling machines, ensuring proper tolerances.
Required profile
- General machine knowledge with experience in a factory environment (heat, dust, standing for long periods).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks for design work.
- Ability to obtain a tow‑motor license and pass LOTO and confined‑space training.

- Starting pay $39.91 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
