Master Automotive Detailer

About the role

Classic Ford of Smithfield is seeking a skilled Master Automotive Detailer to ensure every new and pre‑owned vehicle meets the highest standards of presentation. You will work in a clean, professional environment and play a key part in the dealership’s customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑service detailing on new and pre‑owned vehicles.
• Operate buffers and polishing equipment safely and effectively.
• Execute paint correction processes, including compounding and polishing.
• Remove heavy interior stains from carpet, upholstery, and headliners.
• Restore headlights professionally and remove window tint when required.
• Clean and recondition vehicle interiors and exteriors to dealership standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a tidy work area while following safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years professional automotive detailing experience.
• Proven expertise with buffing, paint correction, and advanced detailing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Capable of thriving in a fast‑paced environment and managing time effectively.
