Manager, Raw Materials Planning

About the role

We are looking for a Manager, Raw Materials Planning to join our Procurement team. The role ensures that manufacturing operations have the right raw materials at the right time while keeping inventory levels balanced and avoiding shortages or excess.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage raw‑material requirements to support production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, reorder points and lead times.
• Identify and mitigate material shortages, supplier constraints and other supply risks.
• Collaborate with Procurement, suppliers, Manufacturing and Operations to align material availability with changing production priorities.
• Analyze inventory and usage trends to reduce excess and obsolete materials.
• Use ERP/MRP systems and Excel to generate material forecasts and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Procurement or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in material planning, supply planning, procurement or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems; Microsoft D365 is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft D365 (ERP/MRP system).
• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with ERP/MRP platforms.
