Manager, Creative Services – Design Lead

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Manager, Creative Services (Design) to lead visual design, brand identity, and integrated creative initiatives for internal and external audiences. The role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on design execution, partnering with cross‑functional teams to deliver cohesive multi‑channel experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead concept development, visual design, and brand strategy for major campaigns, events, and firm‑wide initiatives.
• Serve as primary design lead, directing creative teams through all phases of execution and ensuring delivery via internal workflow tools such as Optimizely and Design Track.
• Act as central liaison to internal clients, integrating UX/UI, digital, video, and copywriting disciplines to produce unified solutions.
• Enforce brand guidelines across digital, print, and multimedia touchpoints, reviewing deliverables for quality, accuracy, and launch readiness.
• Champion innovative practices, including the adoption of generative AI design tools, and oversee their effective use.
• Provide performance management and mentorship for senior and associate designers, fostering an inclusive, high‑performing team environment.

Required profile

• Minimum seven years of progressive experience in visual design, art direction, and brand identity, preferably within an in‑house agency or professional services environment.
• At least two years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary design teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field, or ten years of equivalent professional experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
• Expertise in Figma and modern design‑system platforms.
• Experience using Optimizely and Design Track workflow tools.
• Hands‑on knowledge of generative AI design tools and emerging digital trends.
