Manager Corporate Events - Food and Beverage

About the role

Veeva Systems, a life sciences industry cloud company, is looking for a Manager Corporate Events to join its North America marketing team. The role focuses on food and beverage planning and management for large-scale internal and customer events in the U.S., covering pre-planning, execution, budget management and reconciliation. It is a key contributor role with secondary responsibilities supporting other event workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run food and beverage for two US customer Summits and an internal Field Kickoff (2,500-3,500 attendees)
• Develop F&B menus for Veeva programs and their ancillary meetings
• Review attendee projections, finalize F&B counts and submit menus and headcount to the venue
• Manage the venue against Veeva's service level expectations and close out final billings
• Maintain F&B planning spreadsheets and documents, ensuring quality and timely delivery
• Plan short- and long-range, prioritize timelines and develop year-over-year cost-per-head analysis
• Support or manage other program workstreams as directed

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience managing major corporate event workstreams
• 3+ years of experience managing food and beverage for corporate events
• 1+ year of experience on large-scale events in a convention center
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and to travel 20-25%
• Nice to have: experience in enterprise software or SaaS
