Make-Ready Specialist – Residential Turnover

About the role

The Make-Ready Specialist ensures that vacant apartment units are prepared to the company’s quality standards for re‑leasing. This role involves performing technical and mechanical work to turn over units quickly and efficiently, making them market‑ready for new residents.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements on vacant units according to the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair or replace it.
• Perform touch‑up painting on vacant and occupied units under supervision.
• Assist with maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, debris, and pressure‑washing breezeways.

Required profile

• Ability to follow detailed checklists and work instructions.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, lift equipment, and work in various apartment environments.
• Attention to detail to ensure units meet quality standards before new residents move in.
