Maintenance Technician - Wardman Park (Lease-Up)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Wardman Park property in Washington. The role focuses on ensuring the building’s physical components, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality, especially during lease‑up periods.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Adherence to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in routine safety meetings.
• Ability to follow established procedures for work order completion, make‑ready processes, and inventory management.
