Maintenance Technician – The Residences at Front Row

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of The Residences at Front Row meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This onsite role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, track usage, return unused items, and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical work safely and effectively.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call rotation.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory, and documentation.
