Maintenance Technician (Summerall)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders generated from resident service requests.
• Diagnose the source or cause of defects and perform repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to keep building systems operating efficiently.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process, including pre‑move‑out inspections and preparations for vacant apartments.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders and technical instructions.
• Knowledge of safety standards and building codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
