Maintenance Technician – Promenade Towers

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Promenade Towers property in Los Angeles. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• Availability to work Tuesday‑Saturday with weekend and on‑call duties.
• Ability to follow established policies, safety procedures and code requirements.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking inventory and completing documentation.
