Maintenance Technician – Nash Springs

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the Nash Springs property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This role involves hands‑on technical and mechanical work to keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, track usage, return unused items, and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical or technical problems and perform repairs safely.
• Experience handling work orders, make‑ready procedures, and vendor coordination.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and inventory management.
• Willingness to perform general cleaning, landscaping, and minor painting tasks.
• Commitment to following safety and risk‑management policies.
