Maintenance Technician – Maxwell at Bascom

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the Maxwell at Bascom property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This onsite position supports resident satisfaction through timely repairs and preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Availability for on‑call duty once a month for a week.
• Schedule includes Sundays and Mondays off.
• Eligibility for a 20% housing discount.

Required skills

• Experience with HappyCo work‑order management (preferred).
• Experience with Yardi work‑order management (preferred).
