Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures continuous operation of automated material‑handling equipment in a high‑volume distribution center. You will work hands‑on with conveyors, labeling systems, Jolly machines and boiler equipment, minimizing downtime and supporting the flow of fashion and apparel products.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, motors and drives.
• Maintain automated labeling/print‑apply equipment.
• Service Jolly machines and associated boiler/steam equipment.
• Diagnose sensor, photo‑eye and communication faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance on material‑handling equipment.
• Respond quickly to equipment stoppages to restore production flow.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams to identify failures.
• Replace belts, rollers, bearings, motors, pneumatic parts and document all repairs.
• Identify recurring failures and suggest reliability improvements.
• Follow lockout/tagout and all safety procedures.

Required profile

• Technical or technological degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining industrial or specialized equipment, preferably in a warehouse or automated environment.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operations teams.
