Maintenance Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Team Lead to ensure our production equipment in Florence operates at peak efficiency. You will lead a team of technicians, handle urgent safety issues, and drive continuous improvement across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and robotic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to all maintenance calls, prioritising safety‑critical issues and performing repairs on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and tooling equipment.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and maintain SAP work orders and PM records.
• Coordinate shift and weekend coverage, and align maintenance activities with production supervisors.
• Troubleshoot electronic components, actuators, sensors, servo‑hydraulic and servo‑pneumatic systems, and high‑resolution positioning devices.
• Develop and implement PLC program improvements with support from PLC technicians.
• Maintain 5S standards and report spare‑part shortages to planners.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Industrial Mechanics, Electronics or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of hand and machine tools, measuring devices and leveling equipment.
• Experience reading blueprints, electrical schematics and industrial safety standards.
• Understanding of AC/DC circuits, motor wiring, and electrical safety codes.

Required skills

• PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• SAP work order management.
• Use of multimeter, oscilloscope and amp gauges.
• Servo‑hydraulic, pneumatic and robotic system expertise.
• Electrical schematics interpretation.
