Maintenance Supervisor – West 5th, Los Angeles

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its West 5th community in Los Angeles. The role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of daily maintenance activities to ensure the property’s interiors, exteriors, grounds and amenities meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in accordance with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, building exteriors, common areas, signage, parking lots and garbage zones.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager on procurement needs.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in property or building maintenance.
• Experience with HVAC systems and a valid pool‑maintenance license is preferred.
• Familiarity with building systems, lease‑up environments and property‑management software.
