Maintenance Supervisor – South Palm Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the technical and mechanical upkeep of the South Palm community in Daly City. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and maintenance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors, providing corrective action plans as needed.
• Provide emergency vendor support and maintain on‑call availability during the Monday‑Friday schedule.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of related maintenance or facilities experience.
• Experience supervising a small team (fewer than 10 members).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage vendor relationships.
• Spanish‑language proficiency preferred.
