Maintenance Helper

About the role

The Maintenance Helper supports the Facilities & Maintenance team in keeping equipment and plant areas operating safely and efficiently. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on experience with routine upkeep, inspections, and basic repairs in an industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tasks using hand tools and basic machinery.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop and work areas.
• Assist and learn from other maintenance personnel across the department.
• Provide support in the tool room on an as‑needed basis.
• Replace water and air filters throughout the facility.
• Repair air hoses and electrical cords up to 110 V.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1 year technical/vocational training preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic safety procedures.
• Familiarity with hand‑tool usage.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of 5S principles is advantageous.
