Maintenance Electrician – Weekend Part-Time

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Maintenance Electrician to join our high‑speed manufacturing plant on weekend shifts. The role is part‑time, working 8‑12 hour shifts from Friday night through Sunday, supporting the production of our well‑known beverage brands.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders and provide maintenance support independently or within a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Participate in work planning, part staging, and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC‑ and variable‑speed‑drive‑controlled equipment, including batch processes.
• Maintain power distribution, interpret schematics and equipment manuals, and perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Document all activities in SAP, including parts issuance, equipment issues, and inspection data.
• Follow all safety, LOTO, and 5S requirements.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; knowledge of safety policies such as lockout/tagout and high‑voltage work.
• Ability to work off‑shifts, overtime, and be available for at least 60 % of weekend shifts.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, twist and lift up to 50 lb in varying temperatures.
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills for electrical and mechanical systems.

Required skills

• PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley PLC5, ControlLogix, HMI, Siemens, Servo Drive).
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Experience with VFDs, servo motors, and PLC I/O modules.
• Computer networking basics (routers, Ethernet, switches).
• Use of SAP for maintenance tracking.
• Preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
