Maintenance Director

About the role

Magnolia Health Systems is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead daily maintenance operations across its assisted‑living, pediatric and skilled‑nursing facilities. The role combines hands‑on repairs, preventive maintenance, and supervision of grounds and building upkeep to ensure a safe, functional environment for residents and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform daily maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, and special projects.
• Maintain and repair wheelchairs, shower chairs, work carts, and other equipment.
• Oversee grounds care including mowing, shrub trimming, fence repairs, tree trimming and pest control.
• Execute facility work such as painting, electrical, mechanical and minor renovations both indoors and outdoors.
• Supervise scheduling, liaise with building administrators and manage other supervisory duties.

Required profile

• Prior experience with electrical, plumbing and air‑conditioning systems (highly desirable).
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
• Experience working in long‑term care settings.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
