LPN / Medical Assistant – Primary Care (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Primary Care team at Kingman Regional Medical Center. This full‑time, onsite position supports physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners in delivering high‑quality patient care in a vibrant northwest Arizona community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and assist with patient triage, both by phone and in person, following the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act.
• Perform CLIA‑waived laboratory tests, collect specimens, run proficiency testing and controls, and may perform venipuncture.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, record vital signs, obtain medical histories, and prepare them for examinations.
• Assist providers with coordinating patient care for clinic visits and procedures, including scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, balancing accounts, charging fees and collecting payments.

Required profile

• LPN: Graduate of a practical nursing program, current Arizona LPN (or compact state) license, and BLS certification.
• MA: High school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, and completion of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent certification (CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, CMAC).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand/walk 90 % of the day, and work safely with blood, body fluids, and chemicals.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
