Litigation & Ethics Compliance Counsel – Remote

About the role

This fully remote position joins a rapidly growing national law firm’s Legal & Compliance team. Reporting to the General Counsel, the Litigation & Ethics Compliance Counsel will shape and oversee the firm’s litigation compliance framework, ethics programs, and risk‑management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain litigation compliance policies and procedures.
• Oversee ethics and professional responsibility matters across the firm.
• Audit case handling processes and ensure adherence to best‑practice standards.
• Provide guidance on conflicts, regulatory issues, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with practice groups to support firm‑wide compliance initiatives.
• Help build and scale an in‑house compliance function.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of litigation experience in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong understanding of legal ethics, compliance, or professional responsibility.
• Experience managing large case inventories such as plaintiff personal injury, insurance defense, mass torts, or complex litigation.
• Excellent organizational, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote setting.
• Big Law or multi‑jurisdictional litigation experience preferred.

• Base salary between $170,000 and $200,000 per year.
